Nail Art: Pink Glitter Gradients

I have a habit of impulse-buying nail polish, and when I saw a 2-piece mini nail kit at the Crayon stand at Watson's, I knew I had to try it out. My boy bought it for me as a cheer-me-up present, and I was really happy with its quality. (It was also really cheap-- P98 for two polishes!).

I was in such a hurry to try them on that I forgot to do a step-by-step, so you'll have to bear with picture-less descriptions of how I did it. :(

STEP 1: Transparent glitter polish. Put two coats on your entire nail.
STEP 2: Pink glitter polish. Brush lightly from the halfway point to the edge of your nail. This part is difficult, but try to make your single coat as light as you possibly can.
STEP 3: Pink glitter polish again. Do a thick french tip on the edge of your nails to finish the gradient effect!

I finished it off with a thick coat of clear polish to seal the nail and make it last longer. That part's always optional, but I always do it so my designs stay put longer.

Here's the finished look! No stickers this time, as I wanted to show off the gradient effect. All in all, it took me about 30 minutes to complete this design. Waiting between drying times is a must, because with all the thick layers, it's easy to scrape off a chunk if the coat's still wet. I highly recommend trying this out for yourselves, as it's quick, easy, and quite pretty.
