I got my hair cut at AZTA just in time for the big Halloween party at Manor, and when I was flipping through the catalog I realized I'd already tried out most of the more classic styles. Whether long, short, or medium, I've sported quite a lot of hair styles and colors over the years.
I remembered that I'd really loved my short asymmetrical bob a few years back, but Josh was always saying how he loves my long hair, so I decided on a (very strange) compromise:
I swear it doesn't look as weird in person (okay so maybe it does), but as soon as I got the cut, I knew I'd fallen in love. This weird little style is a combination of a couple of things-- half bob and half... curly monstrosity. I LOVE it.
The color is another story though, as my previously plum hair was slowly staining all my towels purple and I decided to get it over with and just color everything black. HOWEVER, as I reached for the permanent black dye over at HBC, something came over me and I chose... the caramel brown instead. :|
To make a long story short... when you mix caramel brown and plum, you end up with an odd shade of red. I actually quite like it. It may seem a bit weird when paired with the cut, but I think I'll dye the whole thing black before Christmas hits. I don't want to scare the relatives after all. Lol.
And just so you have a peg-- here's a photo of my original cut and color. Yes, this new hair almost makes the previous purple look *tame*.

OMG I love your hairstyle! It suits you and is seriously one of the most original looks I've ever seen on anyone. Sana you got it done in time for fashion week. Is the long part digipermed?
It doesn't look weird, Lizz! You actually look pretty awesome! I'm sure you would be getting your share of stares in the days to come, and I mean that positively. I wish I can pull that look off as well as you do!

Lauren- Haha yeah. I was totally going to the VAIO show but I ended up just going to Manor. Nakakatamad to drive all the way to MOA and back again... It's not digipermed. I just use my curling iron to get that look; most of the time it's just in big waves.
Meedge- Hehe thanks! I've been putting it up in a ponytail when I go to work so no one can really tell what it looks like. XD
Lily- Thanks! Am glad you like it. :D
Donna - Thanks! :)

That color looks good on you, too. I like this in the plum one. :D They work best with your skin.
The accidental caramel brown colour is simply gorgeous. Hard to copy though :-D
I love it! You're totally rocking that look. What does it look like now? My boyfriend would kill me if I did that to my hair. :))
