I promise to do full coverage on the makeup workshop that I took (most likely within the week!), and I'll share some new looks that I learned how to do as well. But for now, here's a quick look at how to use Tony Moly Hot Pink and Powder Blue gel liners!
These are fast-becoming my favourite gel liners because using them allows me to skip certain steps whilst still getting the bright-eyed look that I'm really fond of. Hot pink is not something I considered using before I purchase this gel liner, but I was surprised at how nice it ended up looking on my skin tone:
For this look, I just put on some Beauty Insurance BB Cream, used a hint of blush, put on Etude House shimmer pink lipstick, and did some quick pink eyeshadow work with my 4U2 I-Pro palette and the Tony Moly gel liner. The pictures don't really do this liner much justice, but suffice to say that they really stand out IRL.
Here are the steps to getting this look:
I love how sweet this look ended up, and even though it was a bit matchy-matchy, I was pretty happy with how the gel liner performed.
This next look is a slightly more complicated variation of how I usually wear the blue gel liner. When I'm feeling a bit lazy, I tend to just line my lids and waterlines with it, slick on some mascara, and rush out the door. (See first picture at the top of this entry). It's a lovely bright blue and I love how it pops out even from behind my glasses.
Of course, it's entirely possible that you want to go with something a little less bright, so I ended up making a half-eye shadow, half-gel liner look:
As usual, I used my Beauty Insurance BB Cream, Tony Moly Gel Liner in Powder Blue, my Etude House lipstick in PK001 (crazy fuschia color) and my 4U2 I-Pro Palette.
Alternately, you can tone this look down by using light pink shimmer lipstick instead of bright fuschia. I used Etude House's Orgel Light lipstick in 6, and I'm absolutely in love with this color. So dainty!
Interested readers can pick up the Beauty Insurance BB Cream (P1,290) and both Tony Moly pink and blue gel liners (P475 each, comes with brush) at my little online store over here.
Stay bright and beautiful, ladies~!

oh wow those gel liners looks great on you! i love how bright and vivid the colors are too, but they look mild cause of how you did your make up. you look stunning girl!
The colors remind me of Katy Perry's California Gurls video :)
Do you still have Tony Moly gel liners in black? I'm thinking about getting one - I really do prefer its texture to MAC Fluidline, but I've yet to test its staying power. Let me know. :D
I like the look using the blue gel liner.
Capulet- Hehe, thanks girl! I totally love the Korean look, so I'm always trying to recreate stuff I see on ADs and TV.
Krissy- I love Katy Perry, hehe.
Lauren- Unfortunately not! :( I've run out of the blacks and browns... all I've got left are the blues and purples, but I will say that the dark blue can brighten up a look more than the original black one would. It's got really nice pigment. :D
Badet- Thanks, dearie!
hi lizz! like the blue gel liner. i am biased to anything in blue. btw, love your new hair color! you look chic and classy! :)
Edel- Hehe, thanks dearie! I'm really enjoying being a blond! :D :D :D

i never thought colored liners could actually look good on everyday makeup looks.
Abbie- Thanks for visiting, dear! :D I was actually surprised, too. But I figured that since I totally impulse-bought them, I better find a way to use them. XD
