Flawless Review: Enormous Lash Serum

I've been wanting thicker, longer lashes for years now, and I've tried everything from falsies (too much hassle for everyday primping) to semi-permanent Eyelash Extensions (so uncomfortable that I ended up ripping mine out myself; ugh). I've been hearing about lash growth stimulators/serums from various international beauty blogs since earlier in the year, but I haven't been able to get my hands on one (mostly due to price; they're usually well over $100).

When I went to Flawless for my diamond peel a few weeks ago, I saw their standee for Enormous Lash and immediately decided to try it out. I really want longer, thicker lashes that are 100% real, and I think that Enormous Lash may be the answer to my prayers.

I actually looked Beauty Society up and discovered that they're selling the product in the US for $95. This means that Flawless is selling it for less than if you buy it from Beauty Society directly! Furthermore, Flawless is running a promo that if you purchase the 5+1 Nano Powerpeel Package, you get it entirely FOR FREE (faint). If that's not a good deal, I don't know what is!

Further research at the Beauty Society website revealed a very informative FAQ section. Here are some excerpts that I found particularly useful:

How long does one tube last?  This may depend on each womens usage, but under normal conditions a tube of Enormous Lash can last between 4-6 months. 

Will it interfere with Lash extensions?  You can use Enormous Lash with eyelash extensions and will soon see there is no need for messy, expensive, and irritating eyelash extensions. Real is always better and more attractive. 

Is it cruelty free?  Yes. We never ever test on animals or use any animal by products. 

What about chemo patients?  The happiest and most heart felt calls we receive are from the women that have gone through chemo treatments and now love their eyelashes. This product truly transcends beauty into dignity and self respect for women. We feel truly blessed. 

Is it safe for pregnant and nursing women? YES! Because Enormous Lash is prostaglandin free, women who are pregnant and nursing can safely use it.

What's Inside the Tube: Instructions and the 6ml Enormous Lash Serum

I was a little surprised when I read the instructions and opened the tube, because I was expecting something like mascara that you would brush on to your lashes.

Instead, it's actually got quite a thin brush and the tube is filled with clear liquid. The product consistency is exactly like eyeliner, and you're supposed to brush it along your upper and lower lashlines. The instructions are pretty clear about NOT getting any of it in your eye (flush with water immediately if this occurs), so I'd recommend practicing a bit with real liquid eyeliner if you don't have a steady hand.

You're supposed to use it twice a day, and I use it in the mornings after washing my face and at night before sleeping. The product has a mild stinging sensation when applied, but it's nothing unbearable; the skin around your eyes are very sensitive and this is pretty normal.

So here's a photo of my Day 0 lashes. As you can see, they're horribly sparse and thin. I've posted this picture so I can go back to this entry and compare it after a few weeks. The product should be used for 45-60 days, twice a day, to achieve its va-va-voom results, but I heard that I should be able to see a visible difference in around 3 weeks time.
