Flawless Review: Body Salt Glow

I've been developing quite a Flawless habit because of the lovely contest they're running, and last Thursday I went in for my final treatment. Strategically located on the first floor near the entrance, the Flawless Trinoma branch was quite cozy and had just a bit of space where waiting clients could sit.

Of course, the staff was quite friendly and I didn't have to wait long before I was accommodated. Pampering myself after a stressful workday provided a much-needed break, and I chose to give the "Body Salt Glow" service a try.

Flawless Trinoma has an array of beds in the main area where you can have facials done, but for this particular service I was ushered to a private room.

Not for the shy-at-heart, the Body Salt Glow is basically a full body scrub where they cover you in a heavenly mixture of crushed dead sea salt crystals, tea tree leaves, and massage cream. They then carefully exfoliate every part of your body. (You've got to be naked for them to do this, and it's quite similar to your typical full body massage.)

The room that I was in was actually quite small; just big enough for a bed, a tiny shower capsule, and a sink. After showering, I slipped on the disposable undies and a shower cap and lay on the bed. The body scrub was relaxing and the product smelled quite soothing and fresh.

The attendant was quite nice and worked quickly and efficiently; she also asked if my many tattoos were real or henna (haha). I think she was afraid the body scrub would rub them off if they were fake. XD

After the full body scrub, she wrapped me in plastic sheets and left me for ten minutes to luxuriate in the mixture. This is usually the part during body scrubs that you feel most relaxed, though I did feel a bit chilly and ended up taking my shower a few minutes ahead of schedule. (Blame it on my sensitive skin, haha!)

My skin felt really soft after I washed off the product, and my guy commented that my arms felt really smooth! I was really happy with my Body Salt Glow experience, and I highly recommend getting a full-body exfoliation at least once every other month. :D
