Review: Beauty Credit at Mall of Asia and SM North

The Korean brand 'Beauty Credit' has been in the Philippines for over a year now, but for some reason it hasn't clicked like SkinFood, Etude, or The Face Shop have. My theory is that it's because they don't have their own store, and it's too bad because they have really cute, affordable products.

I stopped by their stall at Mall of Asia recently (for the very first time), and I thought that their adorable pony logo was so cute! All their items have this embossed picture of a rocking horse with stars on it, and as is typical of Korean beauty products, the packaging is fantastic.

Their counter in Mall of Asia can be found in the department store's beauty section. They've got a lot of available stuff, and I loved the unusual colors of lipstick they had available! Rather than your typical pinks and reds, they had incredible oranges, neon pinks, and some sort of iridescent red. While the colors may look a bit weird at first, when tested they go on semi-sheer and are completely wearable.

Lipstick in 'Sugar Orange'
Php465

You can build this to a brighter orange if you apply more layers, but I prefer the way it looks with just two or three swipes. Since it's semi-sheer, it let's your original lip color show through and makes for a lovely, summery look.

This was a photo I took under direct sunlight, and it pretty much toned down the orange color and just left me with a pretty coral shade. It's great at moisturizing my lips and has tiny sparkles in it, and as my first orange lipstick, I'd say this is a great addition to my collection!

For the interested ladies, you can visit Beauty Credit at SM North's "The Block" (inside Watson's) and at SM Mall of Asia (inside the Department Store's beauty section). They're offering coupons for Php30 off, so head on over to check it out!

I'm using their charcoal nose patch which is really effective in removing blackheads and whiteheads.

Badet- Ooh, cool! I haven't needed nose patches yet since I use pore minimizers and facial scrubs, but I'm looking forward to trying them out when I do. :D

Lauren- I didn't! I only had a few minutes to check it out because we were headed to a foodie event. :( But yeah, I know what you mean. I hate those 2 malls because it's also traffic.

Daisy- It's such a pretty design. :D

Hi Lizz, I don't think it's very accurate to say that Beauty Credit hasn't clicked with the local crowd - after all, it does have TWO (2) stores in two of the biggest malls (owned by the largest mall owner in the country no less!) in the city. ;3 I will agree though that they may be the nicest brand very few have ever heard of, because I live in Makati and both MoA and North Edsa are a serious bitch to go to. This scenario may change though thanks to this blog post of yours! ;3
