Last Weekend's Trinoma Sale Haul: Bench, ALDO, and Folded & Hung

I'm sure everyone and their mother flocked to Trinoma last weekend for their big sale, and while I didn't actually know of the sale, I found myself heading there with my boy on a terribly hot Saturday afternoon. I didn't buy a lot, but I was extremely happy with everything I did manage to get. (The crowd actually wasn't so bad...)

This wasn't among the items on sale at Trinoma, but as soon as I slipped it on my finger, I knew I had to have it. It's the largest, kitschy-est ring I have EVER owned, and it matches all my clothes because it's got every color on it. I wore it immediately after I bought it and I'm totally crazy about it!

Bench had a sale on everything, and I snapped up (what I think were) some of the few items that weren't on sale. (Sheesh). I find brassieres incredibly hot during this insane summer we're having, so I looked into some nipple covers that let you go bra-less without having people stare at you. I road tested it on Sunday night, and it worked great! Perfect coverage, reusable, washable, and great value for the price . I highly recommend this for other girls who are melting in this summer heat.

Bench Lip Plumper

I also bought a Bench Lip Plumper since it was really cheap. I wasn't too happy with this, since it wasn't menthol flavored and kinda just stung my lips when I put it on. (I prefer lip plumpers that offset the stinging sensation by adding peppermint to cool it.) The color was sheer (see swatch below), and I didn't really like the overall product. While it did its job (plumped my lips up pretty well), it didn't really go above and beyond the call of duty like Etude House's lip plumper (had a minty, cooling sensation plus it had really decent color payoff). Etude's plumper is about Php100 more expensive than the Bench plumper, but I think it's definitely worth it.

Folded & Hung
2-for-Php500 Brassiere Sale

I actually hadn't planned on buying these, but I stumbled across the 2-for-500 sale and had to grab a couple of bras! They're usually at Php359 each, so this is a huge discount, haha. The bras were comfy and very cute, and I guess my only regret is that they didn't have many more stocks left. I wanted to get one black one and one pink one, but they were all out of my size in the blacks. :( Oh well! This model is super comfy and doesn't have an underwire, so it's perfect for T-shirt and Jeans days.

All in all, I'm really happy with my new purchases. I didn't get to take advantage of the sale too much, but I did get some great deals regardless!
