ISA KNOX: Luxian Shine Lipstick And A Simple Summer Look

Isa Knox: Luxian Wrinkle-Free Shine Lipstick in W555

This was part of the Korean makeup haul my mum sent me a few weeks ago, and I have totally been loving this gorgeous lipstick. It's got a great crushed raspberry color, feels fantastic on my lips, and good staying power. It has quickly become a staple for me this summer, as maroons and reds feel a bit too heavy for the season.

Swatched!

It's bit light in the photo due to flash, but you can easily build this color to a more vibrant pink. You can check it out in the photo below:

This has been pretty much my standard face for the past few weeks. Isa Knox is a great shade of pink lipstick to build a look around, but if you can't get a hold of it, practically any hydrating pink lippie will do. Just make sure it's silky smooth and the shade suits your specific skin tone. (After all, every girl needs a go-to shade of pink lipstick.)

For local readers still in search of their perfect pink lippie, I suggest heading over to Etude House (SM Megamall). Their lipsticks are affordable (around Php500), have great staying power, and are mostly in the pink range. It's impossible to go there and not be able to find the pink shade for you, since they have tons of shades in the pink range. (Not a lot of reds or dark tones, though.)

In any case, here's the list of products that I used for the simple look above (and in the order that I used them):

1) Balm Shelter Tinted Moisturizer in Medium (approx Php900 in any Beauty Bar outlet)
2) SkinFood Lettuce and Cucumber Mild Two Way Cake in #2 (Php530 from ebay seller Sun Kim)
3) Too Faced New Romantic Peacock Palette (P625 from ebay seller SoBorn2Shop) Used light brown eye shadow and the pink blush
4) Etude House Dual Change liquid eyeliner in black (Etude House megamall)
5) Missha Perfect Mascara Power Curling (Php300 from ebay seller Sun Kim)
6) Isa Knox Luxian Shine Lipstick (or any fav pink lipstick) to finish off the look!

Hope everyone is enjoying this melting summer heat! Don't forget to visit the beach, and remember: stay beautiful, ladies! ;)
