1) Tan eyeshadow (any brand, but I used the lightest shade from Too Faced's Naughty or Nice palette)
2) Pen-type Eyeliner (I used Etude House's Dual Change eyeliner that has a thin tip and a slightly fatter middle)
3) Mascara base (I used Missha's Perfect Mascara Prime Base)
4) Mascara (I used Artistry's mascara in Black)

You can use any brand you want, but I definitely recommend Etude House's eyeliner and Artistry's mascara. Really great staying power and no smudging. :)
Step 1: After completing your powder/foundation/concealer/etc. face care ritual, dust your entire eyelid with the tan eyeshadow. I just use the tip of my pinky to apply it, and it gives it a nice sparkly finish. (You can also use white shimmer shadow instead of tan.)
Step 2: Line your lids from inner corner to outermost area, extending well past the bit where the corner of your eye ends. A practiced hand can do this in on sweep, but you can stop and start and go a bit slower if needed. End the line by flicking your hand the slightest bit to the top. Note: You can go as long or as short as you want with the eyeliner-- the longer you go past the corner of your eye, the more dramatic it looks.
Step 3: Coat your eyelashes with your mascara base. Missha goes on white and somewhat tacky, and is fantastic at separating and thickening your lashes. You may double coat it if you want super thick lashes; I used two coats for this tutorial, but usually just go with one. Wait for it to dry before putting mascara on top; I usually do one eye after the other, and by the time I'm done with the right eye, the left is already dry and ready for mascara.
Step 4: Coat your eyelashes with the mascara of your choice. I used Artistry's mascara which has a thickening/lengthening formula already, so this combo really made my eyes pop. You can use regular mascara if you don't want your eyelashes too thick. :) After finishing your last coat, sit in front of the fan for 30 seconds to dry your lashes. After that, you're good to go!

Tifa- Haha, glad you liked it! Etude is the best brand ever! XD

i love cat eyes! simple yet elegant
Will check out that eyeliner from Etude. Thanks Lizz!
love it!thani you so much darling:)
love it! i have the eye shape similar as yours and i've always liked this look...thanks!
i'm just curious, why does it say "Dual Change" for the etude house eyeliner? and does it give off a pencil liner type finish or a liquid eyeliner finish? how much is it?
sorry for all the questions... :D
ganda mo naman. ^^ hihihihi
this is such a useful post! thank you <3
Wish we had etude here.
Bianca- It's a pen-type liquid liner that gives you a nice matte black finish (it's between those thick liquid liners and the paler stick liners). :) As for the Dual Change-- the tip is very fine, but the middle part is quite fat, so you can actually control the strokes to very thin or quite fat, depending on how you want your initial line to look. They call it dual change because you can do a very thin line or a very thick line in one sweep. :)
As for the price, it's not more than 500. I couldn't remember the exact price so I didn't put it, but I do remember thinking that it was affordable naman. :)
Gosh, this is really helpful, Liz, thank you! Two questions though:
1) What other mascara bases have you tried (which you don't need to buy online sana)
2) How do you remove your eye make up? What cream/fluid do you use or recommend?
Learning to put eye makeup with the help of the world wide web. You gotta love it.
Pretty look! This is also my every day eye makeup minus the eye shadow. I need to practice more though when it comes to lining my eyes. Thanks for the tut sis. :)
Lots of love,
Anna- I actually used to just triple coat my Artistry mascara in lieu of the Mascara base. I believe that Etude House also has something like this, but they call it a Mascara Fixer. I've never tried it, though.
As for the makeup remover, you can use Human Nature Beauty Oil, Ellanto Honey Cleansing Oil, or Etude House Cleansing Dream Perfect Cleansing Cream. I own and use all three, and they all work well when removing this. My favourite is the Etude House cream because it's not greasy, but the two oils cleanse more completely.
Golden- Eyeliner is love! Am glad you liked the tutorial! :D
Thank you, Liz!
