Roadtesting REVLON's Midnight Swirl at Let's Go Sago's Blogger Pool Party!

I had such a busy day yesterday! I went to the dentist at noon, stopped by the REVLON Clearance Sale in Makati Cinema Square, and went to Let's Go Sago's blogger pool party!

I picked up Midnight Swirl Lip Lustre in Reddish Fetish from the Revlon sale at Php525 (usual price Php875) and immediately decided to try it out. I'm such a huge fan of pinkish/nude lippies, so this New Year I've decided to go with a more daring, bold red!

Midnight Swirl did not disappoint in the color department (as you can see in the first photo; I took this in the car on the way to the party, so it's freshly applied), but sadly it was *quite* sticky. I'm not sure if this is because it was on clearance and thus slightly old, but stickiness in lip glosses is a *big* No for me. :P

In terms of staying power, it proved quite good though. I was on my third cup of tea before the color started fading, and I actually only had to reapply once during the four-hour party. :D All in all, I'd give Midnight Swirl an "A+" for color and staying power, but a "C-" for comfort (down with stick lipglosses!).

Interested ladies can check out the REVLON clearance sale at Makati Cinema Square, Ground Floor Walkway (in front of Dunkin Donuts). I just stumbled across this sale because my dentist's office is near this mall, haha. Talk about lucky!
