Rainy Day Boo-boos and Charlie Brown Plasters.

Walking home on rainy nights has never been a particularly good experience for me, and last night was no exception. I was wearing a lovely pair of WADE 2-inch slip-on sandals (patent white leather), and as I was busy congratulating myself on side-stepping all the puddles, I slipped on a step and ended up in an awkward kneeling position.

This in itself isn't a bad position-- as far as clumsy falls go, it's not really embarrassing. I was wearing a dress and the skirt didn't exactly lend itself to easy movement, so I ended up digging my right knee into the asphalt whilst half-crouching with my left leg. I sat there stunned for a good five seconds before realizing that no, I was not hurt too badly, and that yes, I needed to get up because my dress was getting wet.

To make a long story short, I hobbled home in increasing pain (damn you, scrapes!) and cleaned my wounds. I realized that I didn't have band-aids, and ended up waiting until the following day to go get them at Watson's. And this brings me to the 2nd part of my post:

From Boo-boo to Charlie Brown & Friends Plasters

Have you ever seen anything so cute? :D The one good thing about having this rather large and painful scrape is that I'll be able to wear these adorable things for the next week. :D My mum wasn't too big on band-aids with designs when I was a kid (though I don't think they ever made them this cool back in the 80's), so I'm completely reliving my childhood with the things.

So much love! :D

Is getting your knee scraped part of reliving your childhood too? :-(

JC - Yes, unfortunately. :( I need you to kiss and make it better. My knee, too. ;)

Wow! That sure sounded like a painful fall... I've never seen band-aids that big though. Do they come in Wolverine too?

Philos- Haha it was! And I think if you want this size, you have to ask for plasters for the knee and elbows. :D Unfortunately no Wolverine... too bad!

Consider wearing that cute band aid a consolation. Who says having wounds can be boring? =)

Badets- Haha, I will. :D There's a silver lining to every cloud. ;D

Lace- Haha, thanks! :D I bought them in Watson's-- the saleslady was looking at me funny when I walked up with Charlie Brown plasters, but I didn't care. :D

And the WADE shoes are pretty, but unfortunately I shan't be wearing them for a while. :(
