Diamond Earrings Are A Girl's Best Friend!

I've been toying with the notion of selling some of my own jewelry designs for a while now, and as I was trolling around the net for design inspiration, I came across this lovely little number from World Jewels:


Everyone knows that diamonds are a girl's best friend, but would you look at the workmanship on this thing? I think I may have a thing for sleek, matte finishes and circular designs, and the rather large diamonds only make this little beauty shine even more.

If you want a little color, these Blue Topaz and Diamond Earrings would be simply mesmerizing. My birthstone is actually a sapphire so I rather like the look of blue stones, but these topazes clearly outshine any sapphire I've ever seen.


I think that when it comes to the age old debate between real and costume jewelry, real diamond jewelry clearly wins out when it comes to stones. I'm hardly a diamond maven, but faux stones just don't catch the light like the real thing. This is probably why my personal designs run to the more vintage styles (i.e. cameos and glass beads), rather than faux stones on costume gold.

Still, I look forward to when I can afford to start working with stones and metals like these!
