The opening night of my group exhibit "Love Deconstructed" with Carlito Casaje, Juno Parungao, Ice Basit, Alain Austria, and Jeremy Malcampo went really well last February 12th. The food (caviar, cheese, wine, etc.) which was provided by the Barcelo Cafe and the gallery's own catering service, was absolutely scrumptious.As for the the gallery itself--Art19b at Cubao X-- it was a lovely place with a gracious and accommodating host. Carina Guevarra was a big help to all of us, and I do hope she'll let us exhibit again in the future. :)
The following pieces are the works I currently have up at Gallery Art19b. The photos don't really do the scale justice; nothing beats seeing paintings up close and personal. The exhibit will be running until March 3rd, 2009.

Oh wow, those are amazing! I was at Cubao X last night and remembered that you had an exhibit there somewhere, but I didn't know where lol.
Lauren- Thank you! :D I was actually there practically all day with only 3 hours of sleep, so by the time the opening had rolled around I was crazy tired and left pretty early. The gallery itself is really near Bellini's and Alan's Grill tho!

Can I just say, I'm still awed by the You are my beginning and my end piece... I could almost imagine the epic story behind it, a love that transcends time and space.
Philos- Thank you, I'm so pleased that you liked it! JC was hanging around when I was painting that one, so maybe that had something to do with it. I definitely think that it's the best piece of that collection.
