So I brought my parents with me to check out the condo/office space yesterday and was hoping to close the deal (given their stamp of approval). We ended up waiting in the lobby for the broker and the owner to show up for 30. Fucking. Minutes.
And they didn't.
The broker's phone was out of reach, and of course we don't have the owner's number, so we were pretty much sitting around like assholes waiting for nothing.
I have very strong opinions about punctuality in general, and when it comes to business matters I am always early and/or on time. But mostly early. What pisses me off is not that they didn't show up (though of course that's a doozy), but that they didn't even bother calling the lobby or, you know, *me*. How hard would it be to lift a phone or send a text message that they wouldn't be able to make it?
I am of the opinion that our professions define who we are, and the grace and effectivity with which we carry out our jobs is what determines our social worth.
Of course, this is just a wanky way to say that: F****A Realty Group: YOU ARE WORTHLESS.
